This December, HFH replaced Mugeta well's manual hand pump with a high output electric pump to increase the efficiency of water collection. As the dry season in Mugeta approaches, the installation of the electric pump, as well as a brand new 5000L water storage tank, will enable the water project to serve an even larger number individuals and families during this critical period and well into the future.
Students from Mugeta Children's School can be seen enjoying clear and clean water from the well.
