Our Mission
At HFH, the 4 A's: Awareness, Advocacy, Action and Accountability are an integral part of what we do. Throughout all of our mandates we strive to implement these fundamental principles in order to empower those living in the poorest of conditions to live happier, healthier and more productive lives.
Awareness.
Awareness is the first step to change. Although the world is becoming increasingly globalized, there is still a great deal of disconnection and misunderstanding across nations and cultures. Hope for Happiness is dedicated to promoting awareness of underpublicized social issues and injustices and connecting marginalized with mainstream in order to foster attitudes of tolerance, acceptance and compassion.
Advocacy.
Every person has a voice, unique and worthy of being heard, but in certain parts of the world poor socio-economic conditions, gender inequality and corruption have stripped these voices of their power. We strive to make these voices heard and magnify their volume. Throughout our projects and initiatives we aim to advocate for the rights of those who have been denied basic human rights and empower people by giving them the tools to express themselves and create their own lives.
Action.
Words without action have little meaning. We are committed to taking action against social injustice and poverty by implementing sustainable projects and promoting human rights within our communities through writing and speaking. To learn more about our upcoming projects, please click here.
Accountability.
Over the years, many charities and non-profit organizations have been criticized for heavy administrative costs and misallocation of funds. It is our belief that if we are to make a meaningful difference in the world, we must be accountable for our actions, accountable to our recipients and accountable to our donors.
